What’s Involved?
Generally when you foster, you agree to take a homeless animal into your home and give him or her love, care and attention, for a predefined period of time or until the animal is adopted.
Why Should I Foster An Animal?
Other than actually adopting, fostering a dog is one of the most rewarding experiences you can have. By temporarily taking an animal in need into your home you are:
- freeing up space so that we can take in another dog.
- giving your foster dog the time they need to be ready for adoption.
- helping us learn more about the animal so that they can be placed in the best home possible.
- socializing the dog to a home environment and possibly getting them used to being around other pets and different types of people.
How Can I Become A Foster?
Complete our online Foster Home Application to help us become acquainted with the environment that the animal would be placed in and to ensure that we can match you up with the right dog. We will contact you if we have any questions and, upon approval, will send you our Foster Home Agreement which you will sign and return to us.
